Chardonnay 2016
VINEYARD:
Chardonnay: Estate Vineyard Okanagan Falls very light, sandy soil

WINEMAKING:
The juice ferments in French oak barrels and ages on sur lie for another 5 month in the same barrique barrels. The result is a complex yet layered wine. Only 10 barrels (250 cases) produced.

TASTING NOTES:
The oak plays the role of a nice backdrop, so the fruit can shine in the front. Ripe dried Apricot, Nectarine, and nutty flavours combined with a soft but very light buttery finish – it will make you rethink ABC (Anything But Chardonnay)!

FOOD PAIRING:
It’s a typical food wine and easy to pair. Stay on a soft spice level with your cuisine. Creamy and/or baked cheese dishes will pair great. Very nice for veal or vegetarian dishes too.
