    8th Generation Vineyard COVID Safety Plan

  • Masks are mandatory for all customers and staff members entering the wine shop. Masks must be kept on until your tasting starts. If you leave the tasting at any point a mask must be put back on. If you do not have mask disposable masks are available.

  • We have implemented a reservation system to limit the number of customers at any one time. We can accommodate groups up to six people per tasting. Reservations can be made online through our booking site.

  • Contact tracing list is recorded daily 

  • If you have travelled outside of the country, or had any of the following COVID-19 symptoms in the last 10 days (fever, chills, cough, shortness of breath, sore throat, muscle aches or headache) please stay home. We look forward to welcoming you when you have been symptom-free for at least 14 days.

  • Please wait for staff to welcome you and lead you to your tasting while maintaining physical distancing.

  • There is hand sanitizer available at the front door. It is mandatory to sanitize your hands before entry into the wine shop.

  • Our staff will guide you through the tasting process while maintaining a safe distance.  Please follow the instructions provided to ensure a safe and enjoyable experience.

  • No cash transactions will be accepted.

  • Staff will wash their hands prior to handling glasses. All glassware is sanitized in our professional grade dishwasher.

  • We practice thorough cleaning and sanitizing procedures after each customer to ensure that all surfaces and touch points have been sanitized according to WorkSafe standards.

  • Our washroom is available for customers and will be cleaned hourly.

  • We have installed barriers at our checkout and tasting bar to ensure the safety of customers and staff.
